Training

Monica Martucci artistically trained side by side with Lucia Cecchini Galloni Accademia Di Danza of Rome – Luigi Sironi and Giancarlo Morganti – solo dancer and lead dancer at Teatro alla Scala di Milano. She deepened her academic training under the guidance of prestigious teachers such as:

  • Silvia Brioschi, graduated at the Teatro alla Scala dance school and the Bolshoi theatre in Moscow.
  • Piera Casbelli, Prima Ballerina at Teatro alla Scala.
  • Roberto Fascilla, Etoile at Teatro alla Scala.
  • Carmen Ragghianti, graduated at the Teatro alla Scala dance school and the Bolshoi theatre in Moscow, Prima Ballerina and international Maitre.
  • Bruno Telloli, Primo Ballerino, choreographer and Maître de Ballet at Teatro alla Scala, other than choreographer at Rai.
  • Walter Venditti, Primo Ballerino at Teatro alla Scala.

Work

She performed with lead dancers of Teatro alla Scala in some of the most prestigious theatres in Milan and took part in television ballet productions curated by Rai.

Dedicated to dance training, she studied and deepened the singularity of this fascinating job with training courses dedicated to academic discipline guided by well-known professionals and masters of the international dancing scene such as Anna Maria Prina, director of the Teatro alla Scala dance school, and Anna Mascolo, professor at the University of Entertainment in Lisbon.

She also attended a Sports Management course in Milan.

In 1980 she founded Amici della Danza as an opportunity for those who want to get closer to the discipline of dance and would like to deepen its artistic practice. The participation to national and international dancing contests made her students achieve various scholarships and awards. She also took part in television shows in collaboration with Rai and Mediaset as a choreographer. In 2016 she promoted the Borromini project starting AdD – Accademia Danza Milano.
